Quote:#CAA just sent out TV schedule for basketball season. #JMU appears five times: at Citadel (ESPN3), at Richmond (CSN), at Florida (SEC), vs. W&M (CollegeSportsLive) and at Northeastern (CollegeSportsLive).

Time for JMU to negotiate their own deal again. Probably not as much excitement for the basketball team, but still.

No way

As I said in another thread I would not pay to have games on TV this year.
- no interest
- looks bad on TV with no fans
- the team will be bad and watching would lead to negatives

Why spend money for that.

When we get to the new arena that would make sense - hopefully

Sadly, I agree. When you have an empty house, there’s no value. You want to showcase a competitive team with good fan support. We’re just not there yet, maybe by the end of the year we can get there.

Streaming would be nice, but let’s get some wins and attendance numbers up before TV games - the money would be better invested elsewhere now.

Can we use the CAA Zone ROKU app to fill in the gaps?

Twatter really seems like a good option these days... its depressing to see all the espn3 coverage, less JMU

Checked the CAA app on the ROKU and the Bridgewater game is set to air at 5

I'm actually ok with the platform for now. I'm hoping the broadcast will be good.
If i recall, last year's home games were pretty good. Some of the away games were a little tough to take though.
