Looks about right, I expect Rice to be improved and WKU is still a unknown. We could be a avg team or really damn good. Only time will tell

It would be really nice if La Tech really was the ticket. Then my initial post in this thread would look really smart

RE: Who breaks WKU's 14 game CUSA winning streak?
What many of you stat pushers (wkuyg) have yet to figure out is many of those teams in the 90's with less than stellar records were far superior talent wise to teams fielded today. Don't believe it. Go ahead and search your stats. Start by looking at the number of FBS teams then and now. Then the number of those added in the east and Midwest. Now consider each is allowed 85 scholarship players. Quite a number isn't it. You see the talent is very watered down today. It is what it is.
WKU has done really well with what has been given to it but it is no 1990s Southern Miss. Sorry, no flame, just facts.

No it's not fact ...just your opinion. You can also make the case that players i the 90s did not have the same training programs as today. I posted the record of S. Miss wins when they won 13 or 14 in a roll. I'm not going to look it up but I know there wasn't many wins over schools with a winning record.
lot of 3-8, 4-7, type of wins
So again you voiced your OPINION with nothing backing it up. Just because you say so doesn't make it true. ...S. Miss winning streak was not back in those 90s "when it wasn't watered down"
edit: actually it was the 90's...very late 90s and I did look it up and maybe 10-12 less schools and only one team ranked in CUSA over the 3 year span S. Miss won 14. S. Miss failed to beat that one ranked school. Now if you got anything other than just your OPINION I would love to see it. Other wise this debate is over.
Opinion vs facts....
facts win most of the time. The only time it doesn't is when thaT opinion is based off facts...ACTUAL facts. In that case it can be shown. I'm waiting....
S. Miss 14 wins
Houston 3-8
Memphis 2-9
East Carolina 6-5
Army 3-8
Louisville 7-5
Tulane 3-8
East Carolina 9-3
Army 3-8
Cincinnati 3-8
Memphis 5-6
Louisville 7-5
Memphis 4-7
Tulane 6-5
Houston 3-8

It's a pointless argument how specific CUSA 1.0 teams would perform in CUSA 3.0 and vice versa.

I'm not going to do the work you're scared to do because it does not fit your agenda but I will point out some of the newbies off the top of my head: yall, FAU, ODU, FIU, Charllotte, UTSA, South Al, South Fla, UCF, GaSo and a bucket load more. I named just 10. 10x85 =850 players in FBS. Fool yourself all you want. FBS is watered down. That is a fact. Accept it or be a fool. I don't care which you choose.
