Of course it is. I talked to his son recently, too. He is thrilled that we might get in. It would be a nice present.

I feel sad everytime I see his screen name. He deserved to get in a season or two of Big 12 football.

Thanks guys. My dad, the Gray Avenger, absolutely believed when he left this earth that the Tigers were in. He and I talked often about how we would celebrate the news. It truly meant a lot to him because he knew just how important it is.

Interestingly, he made a parody video that he wanted me to post if something happened to him once (if) the official announcement is made. I have that video loaded and ready to go when it happens.

He will have the best tickets in the house - watching Memphis Tiger football competing against the likes of Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, West Virginia, etc. from up above.

Continuing to send prayers to him and his family. Great poster.

What happened to Gray Avenger? I loved that guy's passion for Memphis! It was awesome! The ECU fans remind me of him. They too are just completely crazy for the Pirates and I love that!

Never met GA in person but if there is a more loyal fan I never met him. Ive be reading his posts as far back as a couple of message boards before this placd existed. If we are in or out, rain or shine, 1-11 or 10-2, he never wavered.

Yea I miss him... Like I miss my Dad, Big Tiger Fan. He will be missed.

He passed away of a heart attack in a Memphis hospital on the morning he was scheduled to have bypass surgery, about 2 weeks ago.

I just lost my mother unexpectedly over the weekend. She had just turned 70 years-old.
