I got chastised by a judge who does a forced pledge of allegiance before opening the courtroom every session. I did not say the pledge of allegiance with everyone for whatever reason...first of which is I think it's silly to do so as an adult because you are told to.

Asked if I had a problem with this country or something, I explained, "No, not enough of a problem to proudly serve with the USMC during a war." Ended that conversation with a smile.

Yes, but one can argue about some of the provisions and what is best for now, 200+ years after the Constitution was made. The constitution allowed slavery after all, and women couldn't vote either.
