A Marshall fan responded to a twitter post by Kentucky radio man that USM was picked by media to win CUSA. I damn sure hope Marshall wins all of their OOC games. Not like the Marshall fans I respect so much.

Sounded like a little fear and respect to me. We like that.

I'll also point out that Marshall is located about 10 miles from the Kentucky border, and there are actually a fair percentage mixed of Marshall/UK fans. In fact, most of my family has split Marshall and UK loyalties, and most tend to be Marshall football and UK basketball fans. I just say that because it entirely possible that that Twitter post was written from a point of view that sees themselves as "UK" as well.

I say that as someone who's three personal favorite college teams probably rank as 1.) Marshall, 2.) Whoevere is playing WVU, and 3.) UK.

I hope USM beats the living breaks off the Mild Cats.

I dunno. USM is good, but it's at UK and they play well at home. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go either way.

If the USM/Kentucky game is close at the end, you can count on the SEC refs to be a factor down the stretch.

Dahbeed is correct, there are a few subjective cat fans out there but they are a rare as the ones with all their teeth.
The Ky Sports Radio guy happens to be Matt Jones, he is big blue apologist and homer, the cats do nothing wrong from his perspective at least.

I think the guy knows how good USM will be. I think a huge majority of MU fans want USM to kill them. It widely known around here that we have tried to Schedule UK for years, even one and dones at their place and they won't play. I hate UK! Go Eagles!
