But this season, I'll also be rooting for Texas Tech and Coach Chris Beard. I really want to see him continue to succeed. I recall when we hired him, Mr. Basketball told us we had hired one of the best young coaches in the country. He couldn't have been more correct. Maybe the "best" young coach in the country.

He's in a really tough conference so I don't expect miracles, but I'm really hoping to see him succeed at a high level. If he can achieve success at Texas Tech, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take over at one of the elite programs in the country when one of those legendary coaches retire. Coach K can't coach forever!

I'm a Trojan fan until I die, but I will also be cheering for Texas Tech and Texas!!
