Why we might be better than last season.
Better than last season? Win 30 games? Beat a Big Ten team in the NCAA? Well maybe not all those things, but just look at the overall picture.

We have one of the best guards in the conference in Marcus, Jr. We have one of the best big men in the conference in Lis. We have a bunch of good players who contributed last season returning, like Kemy, Marius, Jalen and others. Now there are Deshawn and Oliver coming off a redshirt season who should be ready to contribute heavily. And some new recruits like Andre, Ryan, Corbyn and Biggie.

The key will be in replacing Josh and Roger. I think the talent is there to replace Roger. Josh I don't know. He was the heart and soul of the team. We might be able to replace his talent, but it's replacing his heart that will be the key. But in looking at the overall talent and experience, we're miles ahead of where we were when we began last season.

And what about replacing Chris Beard? Now that's really going to be difficult. But Wes has known talent to begin with, so if he can get off to a good start, and mature as a head coach as the season progresses, we could have another outstanding season.04-cheers
