I know offenses are different today, but if he puts up a similar season this year then he will be in the top ten all time in all three categories in just two seasons. Pretty impressive player.

Dangerous weapon if we can get the ball to him.

I hope he does because there is no better recruiting message than the number of guys that go to the NFL.

I'd like to think with a healthy, skilled QB last seasons numbers would be a lot higher. here's to hoping for a healthy season this year for everyone.

Looking at the numbers, Dave Petzke's 1978 season is still one of the best years by any single NIU player in my opinion.

Kraker to Petzke, all day.

Over the last 4 games After Hare went down, Golladay went 23-425-6(regular season avg of 69-1275-18) His stats actually improved with Hare out. At least under a healthy Graham.

Thanks for doing these. I think sometimes the fans get bogged down in their high expectations for the team overall and it leads to under-appreciating a lot of the awesome individual performances we get to witness.

RE: Golladay vs. the All-Timers
I remember watching Golladay against UNLV in that game in DeKalb. I genuinely thought that he seemed like a kid that was significantly better than his peers on the field. He had that future superstar look to him - I hope that plays out.

I am predicting now that Golladay will be drafted within the top 4 round in next year's NFL draft.

Kenny has a good chance to break the single season records for catches (91) and yards (1,215). He is currently at 79 and 1,029 with two games left. See the first post in this thread for more details on the top 10.

Agreed. Or what if there were enough other receiving threats to keep defenses from double teaming him.

Since you brought it up...I'm not sure Blake is really starter material. Inconsistent and lacks concentration.

Others share your opinion. But saying that shouldn't make Huskie fans less proud of Golladay or take away from his achievements or abilities.
As for those of you who believe being drafted or playing in the NFL indicates greater ability, your standards are skewed. Keep in mind there was a time when fewer teams and NFL roster spots existed plus the prejudice so many of you insist exists against players from NIU making it was even greater.

Kenny now has 83 catches for 1,065 yards. He needs 8 catches and 150 yards to tie Petzke's season record 91 catches for 1,215 yards. I believe Petzke did that in 11 games.

Golladay is the wideout in NIU history. Best wishes to him

RE: Golladay vs. the All-Timers
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he'll be breaking Petzke's record. We'll hopefully be too busy busting big runs to throw Golladay the ball. Hopefully, he'll get 3 or 4 catches for big plays but that's about all he's probably going to get against Kent. Probably be the same if we get to a bowl game.
