Rank easiest opponent to hardest.

I will go first and pretty cut and dry for WKU on easiest and hardest:

1. Houston Baptist-will rest starters in 2nd half
2. North Texas-UNT still has a lot of ? marks, plus game is at home
3. Rice-Home game, first game of the season expect us to come of the gate strong at home
4. Miami (OH)-road game but easy opponent we should not have any trouble with
5. ODU-Another home game in the Wood Selig Bowl
6. FIU-Home game against a team we usually have success against
7. La. Tech-Road game, revenge game from last beating against a team that on paper may not be a good as past seasons
8. MTSU-We have had a lot of success down in the boro, should be a close game however this time around
9. Marshall-We like playing at Marshall, and hopefully a lot riding on this game
10. FAU-FAU owns WKU, took all we had to beat them at home last season
11. Vandy-Vanderbilt is a very underrated team, I think they will be solid this season, we will have a lot of pressure to beat them at home in front of hopefully a sold out stadium
12 Alabama-Enough said, welcome to bama, ROLL TOPS! Hoping tool Colin Cowherd is right and Bama rest starters from the opening kickoff

As a Charlotte fan, I would prefer we not do this thread.

A couple of these are interchangeable with 2-3 spots nearest them. Marshall is always a tough game for us, they certainly had our number last year. UTSA and UTEP will be darkhorses for the West and the fact that they are away games do not help anything.

I'll take a stab. The worst part about Rice's scheduling since the latest C-USA line-up was finalized is that in one year we travel to UNT, UTSA, & UTEP and the next year all are home games.

2-2 in Murfreesboro since the series restarted in 2007, is that "a lot of success"?

I do agree that this game should be close, apart from your blowout victory last year and our blowout win in 2009, the series has been very close.

Easiest to hardest, this is my best guess, not that any team will be easy:


1. Houston Baptist - home vs fcs
2. NMSU - home vs old rival
3. UNT - end of regular season home game
4. UTSA - probably better than I think and road game
5. FIU - home game helps
6. Army - these guys will be much better but in El Paso
7. ODU - tough team but they come to El Paso
8. FAU - tough road game
9. Rice - always a tough game and this one is at their place
10. LT - very tough road game
11. USM - I think this is the best team in C-USA and we have them in the Sun Bowl
12. Texas - road game and an upset would be soooo sweet

I'd change the presentation a bit.

Bailiff should win all of these games, but this group is probably also where we suffer an unexplainable loss.

Nah, I expect there to not be enough 6-6 teams to fill the Cotton Bowl, so we'll get that slot at 5-7.

There are no guaranteed wins on our schedule this year, as we don't play Old Dominion.

Tough schedule for the Mean Green this year. I think the first two are winnable and the next two are potential dice throws. #s 5-12 are most likely losses, but maybe we get lucky as catch some team on an off day and get a sneak W against one of the 5-10 group.

North Texas has been abysmal on the road for almost two decades. Because of that some of the home games got "easier" rankings than they probably should have. Our road woes are real

1. Bethune-Cookman - In theory, this is a bought win.
2. SMU - home and season opener for a new regime vs. a rival

3. @ UTSA - new coach for both teams. Our only win last year so there is some
Confidence.
4.@ Army - our D can play tough against the run and with a spread offense you're never quite out of it

5. Marshall - home game. As we've seen in the big12, good teams from the state of West Virginia can struggle on the road in Texas.
6. @UTEP - Coach Kugler and the Miners have our numbers. Seriously doubt we can stop that rushing attack. Road game
7. LA Tech - home game. Not a very far drive for the boys from Ruston. Hoping for a fun shootout, but doubt it
8. @ Rice - might be licking our wounds from the beat down in the swamp th previous week. A second week in a bayou might be too much to handle

9. Southern Miss - last home game of the year. Maybe the new offense will be hitting its stride at the end of the season
10. Mid Tenn State - we've actually fared pretty well at home against our old Sun Belt rivals, but this does not seem to be one of those years.

11. @ WKU. Road game, end of year. Kentucky weather is nowhere near the same.

12. @ Florida. Last win vs an SEC team was in the 1970's
