Pretty much almost sold out. Capacity is 83K. Actually, I'm a little surprised by the amount sold already.

Wow! Is college football that popular there? I know Cal and Hawaii fans aren't buying up these tickets!
Cheers!

First game of the season for most teams has good attendance. Now make it the first for all teams and in a place which rarely sees college football...

I ran a facility in Bulimba, Queensland, just outside of Brisbane for a few years. I traveled there often. Lived there for short periods of time in the Wickham area. Aussies love American Football. They have an NFL game of the week there. A few universities and high schools have American Football teams. Georgia Tech actually had an Aussie on scholarship a couple years ago.

It's warm year round in Brisbane so playing in September down in Sydney is like playing in the early spring here. If you have an opportunity to make the trip down under you should do it. Keep in mind it's a 15 hour flight from LA to Sydney.

If you go make sure you drink a few Ted's.

Hawaii has been recruiting Australia for decades. This year's Warrior team will have two Aussie freshmen on the roster. Hopefully this game will help expand that pipeline.

It will be awesome seeing the Rainbow Warriors do their Haka in Sydney. Aussie's will love that.

Those times are on Friday the 25th, right?

And did you mean daylight saving time instead of standard time for EST, CST MST and PST ?

In Sydney the game is kicking off at 12:00 noon AET (Australian Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 27th. In the U.S. it will still be the day before, i.e. Friday, August 26th. The times given above (which are all p.m. by the way) are local and take into account DST.

The numerical times (e.g. 7 pm Pacific) are correct. Goofus' point is that it should read 7 pm PDT/8 pm MDT/9 pm CDT/10 pm EDT.
