Hard to choose pitchers from when Blacks weren't allowed to play MLB.

Gibson and Koufax (and Drysdale) were almost unhittable in mid-'60s.

Which is why MLB lowered the mound after 1968.

Feller barnstormed and played regularly against the black league players as a kid in Iowa. They ALL said he was best. Buck O Neil used to vouch for him constantly.

Having said that, it's too bad Satchel didn't have more MLB experience.
