Not sure he looks dumb. He submitted an FOIA request asking if any information had been submitted to the Big 12 and NIU's response to his request was "no".

Things happen within the Athletic Department that we will never know about. I'm just happy we are being aggressive guys, this is a very good thing to hear. Sean Frazier, with all his "conference speak" has a plan, and it's good to know that.

Yeah but certainly shows that a lot happens behind the scenes. It would seem any dialogue was well disguised.

Maybe all that fraternizing my source referred to was with the B12... and this AAC stuff is Frazier's backup plan

Now that would be sweet. The Big 12 remains an extreme longshot though but if you wanted to get the attention of the MWC or AAC then pitching a P5 would seem like a nice way to do it. One or both of those leagues will need to some high upside backfills here at some point. Gotta walk the walk, right..?

You folks are small thinkers! I am shooting for the SEC! After all, we're NIU - the absolute best G5 team with stellar facilities and a whopping 13K attendance average. Plus, we're the best team ever to get only 33 yards of offense in a bowl game. I sure hope STF is working on getting us into the SEC. Hey, wait! I'm sure he is!! After all, he's STF!!!!!

It is also important to note that I'm sure any school could have said we would like to present to the Big 12. The Big 12 decided which schools they would listen to. Keep that in mind.

Agreed. The Chicago market might be a saving grace. Raising a B12 flag in the heart of B1G land is a huge deal

Frazier is using this presentation as a "warm-up" for when he makes his bid to apply NIU into the NFL. Although I feel that moving into NFL would be a lateral move! The CFL is where it is at!!
