A quarter century before he became the nominee in a time of some rather dramatic shifting of party allegiances.

he became a Republican at the age of 51, in 1962, and became the nominee in 1976

Since you missed on when he became the nominee, can I believe you on when he became a Republican?

Are you saying that what I posted is not true?

I told a coworker, "300 million Americans and we're reduced to this."

He replied, "Actually, there are probably only 60-70 people with the wherewithal to make a run."

I said, "Fine. Let me see the list."

General rueful mirth all around.

Reagan was the nominee in 1980. I know. I waited 2 hours in line to vote for him. And I worked for the Gerald Ford campaign in 1976.

Oh so you were just talking out of your butt. Mmmmmkay

Once you learn how to spell, you will probably be able to do a google search. Here, let me help you.

That was cute. Too bad the first website on your little search debunks the whole argument.

Actually it doesn't. You asked how we know it's a 12,000 jacket... And even snopes admits it is. All we're arguing about now is where she wore it and whether she paid retail.

The point still stands that she's wearing to a campaign event, something that by itself would almost put someone over the federal poverty level. It's another in her long list of 'poor optics'.

I doubt Chairman Mao would approve of that party jacket.

Who in the hell pays that much for something like that? It looks like it was made from a set of 1970's pickup truck seat cover fabric.

Except that you are wrong again.

Snopes can easily fool any libturd who is used to getting spoonfed talking points and not thinking for themselves. Snopes admitted it was a $12K jacket.

My get rich quick scheme is take a burlap potato bag, tie-dye it with a few different colors, cut two holes for arms and one hole for her giant ego, and sell it to her for $10K.

It looks more like beer tabs. I think the white one looks way better. But look at who's wearing what. There's no comparison.

With a body and legs like that, you dont pay $12,000 to cover it up.

And to think she just had a baby 3 months ago.
