Anyone feel like NIU needs a major overhaul with the coaching staff,. this thing is going south real fast-like.

In what regards? Because some recruit that was highly rated coming out of high school is transferring, so you automatically assume he is a superstar. Perhaps, he was just too lazy too work, rested on his laurels, and couldn't take it to the next level.

Please disregard the fact that we have 2 new coordinators going into this season. More verbals than we have ever had at this point, including 4 transfers from larger programs. Oh could it be you have a bone to pick with Carey like a couple of other posters here? Or is it your typical "the sky is falling" paranoia?

In the spring it looked like he was starting so it's a little hard to believe he would leave due to playing time, just saying.

I guess it's possible they told him he would only play on running downs or something, who knows.

Wow, this is disappointing. I thought Ruben Dunbar could be an impact player this season. I hope this is not a done deal.

Ruben is super slow for an edge rusher ...just saying. He never impressed. He was big..yep.

I would like a confirmation from someone on this. Not to say I don't believe it but the reasoningredients doesn't add up.

People who have it in for Carey are very similar to people who's presidential candidate did not win the election. They point out everything the winning candidate does as wrong and say the country is a mess because of them.

If his reasoning to leave was because he wanted to play more, then I really don't think he was gonna start.

just being honest about our roster we are better than people think. lots of talent. spring game does not show everything. trust me lots of talent that will emerge this year !!
