SBC Stadium Challenge
It's been an extremely slow day at work, and being an engineer, I use my free time to be a nerd. This stuff helps me get through the dog days of summer.

Here's the challenge: Use your computer's snipping tool or MS Paint to do a basic layout out of your ideal stadium upgrades. You can use any pictures at any angle you wish, and your creation can be as outlandishly SEC-quality as you want (though those based in reality are more fun to look at). Comment your new stadium's capacity when you post. Discuss and let's see which team has the best looking "future" stadium.
(Do your own and don't just post a rendering from your campus master plan)

Here's my attempt:

Capacity ~40k
not pictured: new press box and suites underneath the deck on the left.

Is that a new or larger Bishop Fieldhouse with an enclosed endzone?
As well as a new Video Scoreboard?

I know I'm not alone in wanting UTA to start football. I took a stab at how an FBS Maverick stadium could take shape. 04-cheers

one advantage to an ugrade is that the stadium is not a steel and beam erector set type structure and it is used often and so the surface and facilities have been maintained. when constructed, the lighting was said to be at tv broadcast level so maybe it would not need much upgrading. the north scoreboard could move to the south end and a new larger one go in at the north end. that way people on mitchell street and tailgaters in the parking lot could see it.

I'm guessing this will be post-ice cap melting or maybe when Trump's wall fails, he says "You know what? We're gonna make the ocean a lot ocean-ier, put some water on it. It's gonna be HUUUGGEEE! Then, we send the bill to Mexico!"

You would only need about 50K for ACC. I can't believe 4 ACC teams are 32K and under, yet they still get full P5 checks. So many P5's stealing money they don't earn.

He's predicting the future in a post apocalyptic Atlanta, soon after the Polar Ice Caps melt and cause the entire Eastern Seaboard to sink into the Atlantic Ocean. At that point, Atlanta will become beachfront property.

Make the student side upper deck over hang the mid deck, pu the press box and new suites above the deck on the home side (under the deck can be club seating with indoor lounge/bar area). Also, put another video board above the Bishop Building that is 2-3 times the size of the larger one over the Ted.
