Big 12 Meetings outcome poll/survey
There doesn't seem to be a lot of drama at this point, but could that be a ruse? Here's your chance to predict the outcome of the B12 meetings with regard to expansion (or composition as it's apparently now being called):

Options:

A. NO DECISION/or kick-the-can ("decision" to decide later).
B. Decision NOT TO EXPAND for the indefinite future.
C. Decision TO EXPAND with schools To Be Determined (TBC is a typo in the poll)
D. Decision TO EXPAND WITH SPECIFIC SCHOOLS (if you pick this, also post which schools they are picking and thus if UC is in or out).

These jokers have no idea what they're doing or where they're going. Why are people still paying attention?

Kick the can.

They still need to convince Texas to give up the LHN before expansion can make financial sense.

RE: Big 12 Meetings outcome poll/survey
I must have missed a click somewhere as it looks like the specific votes aren't public (if an Admin can fix that would be great).

When I created this, I figured there would be a high majority thinking they'd kick the can or decide NOT to expand (as it could be kind of a fine line depending upon how they word it). Although kick the can is kicking butt, I'm doubting they go that way. I think it's decision time - they'll either realize they need to expand or they'll kill it (well, kill for the time being, but continue to "monitor" or something like that). Just a hunch, but I went with expansion with teams TBD (as picking the actual schools to add would make it look too much like they are getting their act together).

IMO the Big 12 has really boxed themselves in a corner. Even if they add two teams from the G% right now I don't think it helps them in the long run. They have publically said we are trash so many times that a move will come across as a sign of weakness

Yeah, I think that's the fairest way to categorize today's announcement (congrats to the majority who picked that outcome) with the caveat that it certainly looks like the can was kicked in the general direction of expansion.

I thought those 4 options covered all the bases, but leave it to the Big 12 to complicate things. I guess I should have added an "other" - I'm sure it would have been the clear winner.

RE: Big 12 Meetings outcome poll/survey
It doesn't seem now that "Kick the can" actually won. The whole world now expects that the Big 12 will expand, so "Expansion with teams TBD" seems to be reality.
