If it's what he wants, fine. However, I really hope this was not planned because he is all but certainly denying that child a father when the kid in adolescence.

Technically he'll be a new dad at 73 since he turns 73 in about 2 weeks. I'm surprised this is only child #8 for him. There are probably a few illegitimate children running around the world somewhere too.
