Rice will have six home games (Baylor and Wake Forest out of conference) plus the Texas game at Reliant (NRG) Stadium in 2019.
FIU has 7 home games (Indiana, Maryland and UCF out of conference). We have had as much as 8 home games.
Yes I have always been impressed with FIU's schedule and ability to get P5 home games. No one can deny that from you guys.

Yeah. I'm not really sure why those fans get so upset when we bash this conference. Heck, I figured they would be bashing it with us. For some reason, all of them think CUSA is awesome.
WKU, La Tech, ODU, and MTSU all deserve better than this current situation the same as Marshall does.
I believe majority of Marshall fans have supported all of them joining.

Yeah, but we need to start turning those home games into wins.

FIU gets P5 home games because coaches want to recruit south Florida, and the guys they do sign are probably told that mama and papa will get to see them play in Florida a few times before he graduates.
If FIU was in lightly recruited rural areas like Huntington, Hattisburg, Ruston, etc. they would get no P5 home games.

Here is Marshall's OOC schedule through 2022. We have 2 home games and 3 roads games left to fill over that time. I think Marshall could fit one more money game in 2019 or 2022, and then still have 2 home-and-home dealss to fill. (though I think 2018 probably gets filled with an FCS, which means we could have buy games for both 19 and 22, and one remaining home-and-home to sign for the next 7 years.
2017: MIAMI (OH), KENT STATE, at NC State, at Cincinnati
2018: NC STATE, (home TBD), at Miami (OH), at South Carolina
2019: CINCINNATI, OHIO, at Boise, (road TBD)
2020: PITT, BOISE, at ECU, at Ohio
2021: ECU, (home TBD), at Navy, at App State
2022: NAVY, APP STATE, (road TBD), (road TBD)
Need to extend the Ohio series to a lifetime deal.
Solid upcoming OCC. Play anyone, anywhere.

We did the Great Smoky National Park last year ending at Davenport Gap (I-40) So that's where we picked up this time going northbound to Sam's Gap (I-26). I try to hike on the AT in the early summer or fall, but I had to get away from the repressive heat here in Atlanta. Have you ever hiked on the AT? it's really an incredible experience.

Parts of it. I really want to take my son when he grows up. My dad did the whole thing one year back when he was in college. Sent packages to himself to resupply food etc.

I actually hike with my youngest son and a few of his friends. This was my 4th time out.. It has been such a great experience, however my 54 year old knees were a little cranky this time out especially the multi mile downhill sections..

Well, its easier to get them when schools want to play their for recruits, and its an automatic win.

Well, Marshall doesn't have a losing all time record against any team in this current group of CUSA, so we can talk about the likelihood of our competiveness for championships going forward instead of talking about a conference make up that you had nothing to do with. The only thing you should worry about is can FIU get off the goose egg against the Herd. Currently standing at 0-4 and out scored 165-33. For the math impaired, that's an average score of 41-8 over the first 4 games.
