MT vs. WKU men and women on same nights again

Once again, WKU vs. MTSU men's, women's hoops games are scheduled on the same days. Makes it impossible for fans to see both.

Dumb 03-banghead

That's literally how it is for everyone on every game on the schedule for the past few years.

Which typically isn't a problem. Not many are planning on traveling to Charlotte to see WBB and will be upset about missing the men's game at home. These programs have a deep rivalry, are close enough and have a WBB following strong enough that makes it an issue. Seems like something could be done.

Yeah.... it'd be nice for Western and MT to pocket some additional ticket money from opposing fans, but alas.......... our great TV Package will make up for it 04-jawdrop

Literally also no other scenario where fans who want to go to both exist other then this rivalry in CUSA...Its a unique situation that should be addressed, I know it bothers my parents as well...

I'm sure the travelling fans don't hurt the local restaurants, either.

We most always stop to eat in BG (Judy's Castle, Raffertys, Mariah's before it closed, etc)

Maybe they could just make both games a double header and switch H&H each year. One team from each school would have to have a a week where they play home then away instead of two home or two away the same week. But the travel shouldn't be an issue.

The schedule makers are ignorant, stubborn or both.Fans need to send a flood of e-mails to BOTH AD's.Put the pressure on!!If those two put heat on the C-USA office--they would change it to a Sat.-Sun. arrangement.IT CAN BE CHANGED.

S T U P I D. I always try to go to both games. Clearly they don't care. Pressure gotta be put on ADs to fix this. Massaro complained last year, hopefully they can get on it ASAP before TV is scheduled this year.

3rd year in a row for this, thought everyone had accepted it. I did voice displeasure to our ad during the first year. I did tell him it forces one to chose one team over the other.
We try to make all driveable womens games that are one weekends.

For MT and WKU, we are talking about 200-400 fans from one Univ. or the other. That's a lot of ticket money.

Mariah's is back open. Just about 2 blocks away from where it used to be. But Steamers Seafood in old Mariah's building is good stuff. Fresh Atlantic seafood flown in from South Carolina coast every day. Owner is WKU alumn and his first restaurant is in Hilton Head.

Overpriced but good food. I've had to be careful getting exactly what I need (new restaurant service) but steamers is good.

Your thinking like me. That kills the best rivalry in the conference. Just stupid as hell

I did not understand her respose either.
She said something like having a home game
Every saturday.

I mentioned to her that fans can not be 2 places
At once. She said all the ADs voted on this. I conntend we should make an exception in the WKU MTSU games.

Well, I think that says more about her leadership and foresight than anything else. Very disappointing.
