I read where Andre Jones should have been rated a four star, but that lineup is pretty salty. I'd like to see the 39 players in North Carolina who were better than Marcus, Jr.

It wasn't 39 better than Marcus Johnson Jr. He had to take the Jr. College route so they dont look at you at all.Out of that 40 players only 2 ever played in the NCAA tournament and at least won a game.

Those #s don't mean much! These are the guys that play with a chip because they've been looked over all of their lives. Give me a dog all day. Enjoy the season!

I wouldn't call Marcus, Jr. a dog. He was a first team All American juco if I recall. And had a great season for us last year, and should be outstanding this season.

I would say Lis would qualify at least as a three star!

He might if he were being recruited now, but he's not.

I was just including him in a list of three star quality players. I realize he came out of juco, so I don't know how they rate those guys. I will say, he progressed tremendously from the time he hit our campus until the end of the season.
If he can keep improving, he could be one of those big guys that started out as a project and became a star, ala Frank Kaminsky. Not saying he's at that level, but who knows what will happen this season. He might even get a look in the NBA if he has a great season. He has both size and skills. And a really nice kid.

He will be good.
