Every time CCU signs a FBS team to the home and home, wins a big FBS game, etc. their fans are going to die a little inside. I feel sorry for the majority of their fans.

I'm thankful it worked out for us. While I do hate that many of their fans are disappointed, if I remember correctly most who commented on the expansion threads were not on the Sun Belt bandwagon until fairly recently.

I think he was talking about JMU fans. They will die inside when we succeed, especially after all their upgrades to their football facilities.

I was too. A couple of years back when the JMU to FBS rumors started getting hot most JMU fans dismissed the Sun Belt. Over time many have realized that the opportunity may have passed them by and they should have accepted a Sun Belt bid. I was trying to make the point that when we have successes like he mentioned, many JMU fans will likely be disappointed but many of those same people also were not supportive of the SBC early on.
