NIU13 posted this on the there thread about this...
Spoke to someone inside last night and it seems Beebe came across the middle during 7 on 7 drills and he went up for the ball across the middle and came down on the safeties foot. This person said it was a freak accident but it looked gruesome. Said the whole team felt horrible as they carried him off the field.

The biggest impact of his unfortunate injury will be who returns punts now. Saffold did a little last year with Beebe and TLL hurt. Would be nice if Turner 's kickoff return ability translated to punt returns.
