Unrated (per CA)? Rivals has him as a 2 star.

I'm wondering if Smith is actually a preferred walk-on.

However he gets here it's good to get some kids out of the Shoals area. Muscle Shoals HS and Florence HS turn out some good players every year.

It never hurts to gamble on a kid who plays QB at a small school. They are typically the best athlete on the team. Didn't we sign a couple of those out of West TN a few years back who turned into good players?

0. Don't worry about it. They are going to land their 2-3 OL for this class. We have good depth at O-Line so the staff is targeting higher quality linemen which is going to take some time to get a commit from

Cannon Smith comes to mind right off. Trell Hopper was similar back in the Dockery years. You can never have too many athletes and you are spot on about small school QB's.

I can't remember any W. Tenn quarterbacks that we signed. Darron White and Michael Grandberry from Covington were running backs. So was Rod Smith from Milan. Earnest Williams from Crockett County was a wide receiver. Carlos Singleton from Brownsville was a tall, skinny wideout.

You could be right, though, so let's see if anybody can come up with a name. Any help?

Actually, I think Mikhail Hill was recruited as an OL.

I knew Will Gilchrist from Savannah a few years back. We kept hearing he would be moved to slot, but it never happened.
