(and for those that say Deep dish isnt pizza...um, its actually the closest thing to real italian pizza. Its supposed to be more like a dinner pie) but I am also a NY style fan. Cant compare, they are different but both really good.

If you are in Clearwater (Just west of Tampa) I suggest Post Corner Pizza. Its a greek family that makes a mean Pie. In tampa, I really like Eddie and Sams. I think their crust is about perfect. Also check out Grimaldis. Every bit as good as Eddie and Sams but with a different vibe. Love both.

I'll be there in October (my 11th visit in 10 years, lol) and I'll have to give em a try! 04-cheers

I do love Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater

Finest pizza on the planet- A Vic's Special from Vic's Bradley Beach, NJ.
As much as I like Chicago deep dish, it is a thin crust.

RE: The One And Only AAC Pizza Thread
In high school I worked at a family owned pizzeria in Daytona. Ever since then my favorite pizza has been the one I make myself. Now we do family pizza night most Saturdays in my house. We make the dough and sauce from scratch and use whatever toppings we've got lying around the kitchen. We spend about $2/pizza and my kids love watching me toss the dough and then they help spread the toppings.

But shout out to Lazzy Moon across the street from UCF. Their huge slice and a PBR was the perfect post-game food.
