Everyone one of our fine cities have great restaurants. My favorite restaurant in New Orleans is GW Fins. It's just absolutely fantastic. If any of you guys are in town I'd highly recommend you giving it a try.

Umm... While mudbugs are technically a shellfish (and tasty as hell), I don't think they're really seafood. They live in and eat mud. 02-13-banana

I'm going to nominate Goode Company Seafood in Houston for my favorite. Their mesquite grilled flounder is pretty dang awesome.

Monument Inn Restaurant, located right by the San Jacinto Monument on the Ship Channel (La Porte), is real good. My wife and I go there from time to time if we want seafood. We also tend to dress up when we go.

Flying Fish downtown is as good as it gets in Memphis for seafood. But it's obviously not the same as something fresh on the coast. Like Jeb said, we have good freshwater food.

Any seafood restaurant along the gold coast of Connecticut will have delicious seafood, Lobster rolls... or whole lobsters to eat. I usually will visit a few during the summer time. Eat a delicious lobster as you watch the boats go by.

I have a personal rule, no seafood if I’m in a city that’s more than 5 hours from the ocean.

A good lobster roll on a summer day with a cold draft beer is killer.

I'm gettin' ready to eat some soft shell crabs and shrimp in a few minutes. Cooked at home. Purchased from Clyde Phillip's seafood in Swansboro, NC.

I lived in New Orleans and currently live in coastal New England & I can tell you that crawfish and lobsters have more in common with a c0ck roach than "seafood".
I'll take a sea trout almondine & a baked haddock before a "sea bug" lobster or a mudbug.
