Agreed. The kind of young man I love to see on our team!

Just saw this - been away from the board mostly (since it's summer). Beebe is one hell of a kid - I hope we see him back next year.
Big loss great kid. He will be back. I can tell you he is working with the younger guys that will need to step up with him gone and is very supportive. Great kid.
I hear chad had his surgery this week and it went well wish him the best !
I always laugh at that statement that it went well. Unless visible complications, all doctors will say that.
Can you see this happening "How did the surgery go?" Doctor "My head wasn't in it, he/she will probably have to have another surgery because I phoned it in."

Lol. In reality "Surgery went well" means he didn't die.

I ruptured my ACL and tore 2/3 of my MCL and was never able to get back to running and cutting. Just was never able to get over the mental hurdle of completely trusting the knee.
Surgical procedures have improved since my day so hopefully he can come back strong. If I was going to try to come back from this I would also consult a sports psychologist to help get over the overpowering instinct to protect the surgical leg when it is no longer necessary or helpful to do so.
Great point about the psychologist. I didn't and pretty much took my redshirt freshman playing away for that exact reason.
