RE: Obama, you are on stage now. Will you still show your hate and prejudice

This Board: President Obama said "F*** the Police."
He could also say , people killed by police in 2016
White238 47% of death by police, 64% of total pop
Black123 24% of death by police, 12% of total pop
Hispanic79 15% of death by police, 16% of total pop
Other23
Unknown46 14% of death by police, 8% of total pop (this is Other and Unknown together)
So for whites and Hispanics the ratio here is less than 1, for blacks it's double.
You could argue that there are reasons why this is so skewed, and many of you will, but I thought those numbers needed some context. Total pop numbers were from a google search and based on 2010 census.
Keep in mind that the "reasons why this is so skewed" are as much a part of the context as the overall population.
Whites involved in Violent Crime - 6,578,133, Killed by cops 238
1 Person for every 27,639 criminals
African involved in Violent Crime - 2,697,539, Killed by cops 123
1 Person for every 21 ,931 criminals
About a 20% difference troubling but not the "indiscriminate shooting" of African Americans that some on this board accuse police of partaking in.
I think BLM and Conservatives got off on the wrong foot. The problems we see with police is over-militarization, first and foremost. I'm not hating on police when I say this I'm hating on the way they are being used.
But BLM went to "everything is racist and white people are the problem" and conservatives went to "the police are all our friends" and the two camps never gave each other a chance.
I agree. A little bit of self-awareness would've gone a long, long way.

Leaders should unite and not divide. That's not too much to request, is it?
I understand that and in a perfect world that would be the case. Leaders sometimes have to be unpopular with the opposition though.

That is of course complete nonsense. But, since you traffic in complete nonsense, this is just par for the course.
What comments have you made here that would suggest that you're willing to do what it takes to be unified with someone who may hold different views than you?
First of all, I never insult anyone on this forum even in the face of constant insults. Second of all, I respect everyones opinion even if I dont agree with them. Im not claiming to have any answers Im simply asking everyone not to turn this into political pissing match. Its time for us to come together as Americans.

So much truth in this statement.. but its not just this board. It seems to be anyone that supports the TGOP thinks that way of the President. To be fair he has brought a lot of it on himself.
I just wish we could go back to where there was time to digest what was going one before taking sides.. today a shooting happens its blame the guns and Obama. both are just silly

I was just making sure. I wasn't taking potshots from "the cheap seats", as is my usual MO.
