USM isn't all that bad. I think Appy State does have a better template, but there are far more schools that deserve to be on that list than USM.

I've always liked the Blue/Gray/Black combo for Memphis. The blue helmet with black facemask looks really good, IMO.

I found it funny that the writer started off saying, "I really like USM's helmet", and then ends it by saying "if they had yellow numbers and a yellow helmet....."

I love our unis. I don't know if it's because it's so simple compared to the unis we had before these or what, but the home uniforms look really good. One writer said that our home unis looked like Batman.

Okay, can we stop with the "I like Russell uniforms because they make good polos and shirts" argument. Yes, Russell might make nice retail apparel...but this does not mean they make good quality collegiate performance jersey material. I can't tell you how many times I've seen our guys helping other teammates on the field (while looking for offensive/defensive signals from the sidelines) because their loose jerseys got pulled down under the shoulder pad during a previous tackle or block. You hardly see that as much w/ Adidas, UA, and Nike....but this is why Russell is cheap. They need to seriously invest in their R&D dept.

That being said our current Russell uniforms are much better than what we had in the '13 and '14 seasons...my god those were terrible. However, I'm also ready for the Russell contract to end. It's just bush-league...and they "fit" the players like high school jerseys fit. I honestly don't care about color/design patterns...I'm more concerned about the fit.

I'm sick of seeing our players getting pulled down because they have loose jerseys or getting pre-occupied w/ having to shove their shoulder pads back under their jerseys. My two cents.
