Done! And done! And done!
Reggie Collier is a hero of Western Civilization. He killed the Drunkenbear!

Nightmares from thoughts of the both of them. Dasher burnt us in the NO Bowl.
J. Webb tormented us for four seasons; and even though he played late into the game his fresman year, that sucker almost brought them back to win the game.

If only he'd done so before it spawned.
Always love to read UAB'ers reverence to RC for that sentiment alone.

If Dasher had half as much brains as he did talent, 2010 would have been a special year and Dasher probably would have gone on to, at worst, play in Canada.
The 2 best H.S. players in Mississippi I ever saw were Reggie/Reggie/Reggie Collier and Marcus DuPree (and DuPree was maybe the most talented RB I ever saw anywhere)
Reggie played at the wrong time under the wrong system (of course, so did Brett Favor for that matter)

Could you imagine what Collier or Favre would have been like under Fedora or Monken system ??? I would have loved seeing that..
Favre was actually a running QB in H.S. and had his moments (running) even in college....but could you imagine the confusion on defense with Brett running a one-back, QB always in shotgun, air-raid type-offense?
Remember when USM beat E-ZU (ECU) when, I believe, Brett was a soph? He led USM down the field on a last second touchdown drive (prolly the only passes we threw all day)....and he threw a 30 yard bullet (only about 5 ft off the ground) to get USM into scoring position. USM ultimately scored, they asked the receiver about that pass, and the receiver said he was not looking at the ball when Brett threw it, but he HEARD IT COMING, turned around, and it stuck into his body! True story...

so many good years and memories from those two...
reggie right, reggie left will never be forgotten....
when those legs got going, he was almost unstoppable....
and both of them could throw bullets....we just never knew where they would end up
I always post these about once a year....still gives me tingles....

He was also a Birmingham Stallion in their first year.
