This would be HUGE because:

1. He is a great talent and a really fine young man

2. His commitment would likely send a positive message to other highly rated players we are currently recruiting (especially others in the middle Tennessee area)

I can't remember the last Memphis staff that really recruited the middle Tennessee area (maybe Rex Dockery and his staff). Norvell and his crew are going after middle Tennessee players with a VENGEANCE!

Completely agree on all points. I love how Norvell and co. have the confidence in the program to go out and compete with the Alabama's and Arkansas' and Tennessee's of the world on the recruiting front. It's quite a testament to this staff's ability to sell Memphis football (Though I believe it sells itself after the past couple of seasons) when they can go out and sign players like Ferguson, Tate and Hart before his first full season.

And I do believe that if Eze commits to us it will create a sort of domino effect and allow us to pull in even more talent than we already are.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not familiar with coach Dockery's recruiting tactics (I was born a decade after he coached here). So he was big on the middle Tennessee area as well?
