C-USA in the Olympics
With Olympic qualifying ramping up in several sports, I'm looking for folks to root for other than the fact that they are Americans. Any former or current C-USA athletes qualify for the Olympics yet? Are any going to?

For USM, Tori Bowie is all but assured a spot in the 100m and 200m sprints. She was an NCAA champ in the long jump at USM ( makes you wonder why she wasn't running here but whatever).

One of the first rules of Message Board etiquette is to not criticize someone by assuming they've read your post among the tens of thousands of posts in hundreds of threads. That's why on occasion a thread will go off on a tangent and someone will then create a new thread with a "title" specific to the new topic. Helps all of us to keep things organized here.

I haven't noticed any message board etiquette involved on here yet....but when I do I shall observe04-bow

Hey! All in good fun...I have enjoyed browsing thru here on occasion...and thought I would liven things up a bit today by joining. Folks don't know me on here, nor I them, which is why the internets are both entertaining and irritating at the same time.

Or, as the late Director Michael Cimino stated "When I'm serious I'm Kidding...and when I'm kidding I'm serious." Say wut?04-cheers

Rice probably will just have 1 Olympian - Lennie Waite in women's 3000K steeplechase for United Kingdom. I guess there is an outside chance we have some other foreigner in an obscure sport, but I think that will be it.

We had two qualify for the Olympics, both from Ghana, and both in the javelin.

I say yes, we do.
Hell, I pull for Italy over the US in World Cup. Nobody has ever died because of it, that I can tell.

this will be the most unnoticed/watched five rings ever on a percentage basis....until someone gets sick or shot....

olympiads once embodied soul and country.....now it's just a bunch of cuntries doing thingys that are dicktated by a handful of slum lords....

the olympics has become a joke during my lifetime relative to sport....
