Courtney Lee signs with the New York Knicks
WKU's Courtney Lee signed a 4 year, $48M contract with the Knicks. As I hear it, the contract is 100% guaranteed. Congrats to one of the greatest Hilltoppers ever! First time in my life I am a Knicks fan.

Hornets continue to let their strong bench sign elsewhere.

This year could be ugly

Grizzlies were also interested in getting him back too.

Heard this from a lot of Hornets fans. I disagree though. Batum was priority 1, Marvin was priority 2 and both of those guys are back. MKG, if he is healthy (big if I know) is a difference maker we didn't have last year. Belineli is coming off a bad year but I expect a big turnaround.

I think Clifford makes a lot of these guys look better then they are. He's taken guys who barely belong in the league like Troy Daniels, CDR, Jason Maxiell, and Janero Pargo and turned them into rotation players. Taken mediocre players like Josh McRoberts and Linn and made them lots of money elsewhere. Will miss Big Al though, think he was a steal for Pacers.

Sorry off topic I know. I think Lee is a good player. Over payed, but everybody is this year. Should be a big contributor in NY.

Seems like the Fund Raising Arm of WKU needs to go see Courtney Lee for a really big donation!!!!!!! I'm betting that a major chunk of that Knicks money is guaranteed.

I have never been much of a Knicks fan or much on Phil Jackson, although he is a terrific coach, but looks like I will have to watch the Knicks more this season for sure. They should be much improved with the transactions they made.

Surprised Lin went for a bad team and money when Charlotte would have probably given him a good deal and he would have had a playoff shot.

Aren't the Hornets trying to position themselves to take a run at Steph in 2017? They're probably content to pick up a couple of role players, do what they can with what they have to stay in the playoff picture this season, then try to make a big splash next season.
