Another try another failure rinse lather repeat

Like I said, eventually someone will get it to work...the NFL should get a handle on it now, while they still can.

huh?

a pro league that can't be marketed and nobody would pay to watch

Why couldn't it be marketed? It's a dry period in sports right I'm sure people would tune in.

absolutely...I would

Me too

Yes someone will. If I was a billionaire I would pitch the idea to nbc sports since they have no inventory, particularly college football inventory. Once everything is in place I then would start signing top highschool prospects and players who went undrafted trying to prove themselves.

Because baseball is nothing but standing around or sitting in the dugout chewing tobacco 99.9% of the time.

Pro football players NEED a full offseason every single year just to let their bodies recover from the damage and injuries they sustain in just a few short months time.

Umm what's stupid about what I said? Super teams are forming and everybody knows who is going to the finals. Cavaliers v. Warriors III. Predictability equals less ratings. I already cancelled my league pass and know others who have so you think before you put the lmfao and wingedeagle emoji.

CUT practice squad guys...undrafted rookies...they didn't get an 'on season', so what would they be recovering from?

All the more reason for a domed or retractable roofed downtown stadium.

Heat not an issue in San Antonio(Dome) or western teams. St. Louis neither(dome)

A new league would need to take a page out of the college playbook and go smaller with more amenities only with going the extra mile for roofs.

Love the new stadium in Regina Canada for the Roughriders, 33,000 expandable to 40,000. Memphis would need to top 55,000 to retain Liberty Bowl but doable with level designed to be seemlessly partioned off.

I see a Fantasy League aspect for an additional spring summer league to help fuel stability.

Back to the stadium, also use for potential soccer franchise. Watched Little Rock's scrub team get over 10,000 at WMS.

OKC/Tulsa needs in on this but you have Tulsa's little stadium on campus, would that be viable? OKC could use the renovated Taft Stadium that OKC Energy FC uses but would need upgraded swiftly

Memphis is now passing 40 million invested in the Liberty Bowl (the last 6 years)...we aren't building a dome anytime soon.

So you are going to have a minor league season during the NFL season?

That wont happen.

If its in the offseason, they those players will be recovering from their minor league season and trying to play and NFL preseason and regular season all in the same year.

A significant chunk that could have been used on new facility, talk about wasteful.

Memphis needs a weather proof stadium that could be used for much more than football.

Anyhoo, there's some misconception about how great a gig on a NFL practice squad is, first off the tenure isn't all that long just a couple of seasons. Say a player plays 6 to 7 seasons for an average of 50,000, that's not bad.

well your football league could be diiferent...you could play a shorter schedule, or make it not as physical like the CFL or Arena League.

The USFL was a great competitor of the NFL and worked out wonderfully when it was a spring league.

Then Trump killed the USFL when he wanted to go head-to-head in the fall like the idiot that he is.
