I've noticed that the coaching staff and new recruits have all been using the hashtag #StripeEmUp on Twitter when promoting recruiting for the football team. Why not shorten it to #StripeEm as our unofficial slogan the way Texas markets Hook 'Em and A&M uses Gig 'Em... Just thinking out loud. Thoughts? I'm sure some of you all will think it's stupid lol.

Funny. When I saw stripe 'em, I just got the Rawhide song going thru my head....while 'some' of y'all (cough cough) went all wiggy in another direction.

But I also got the branding iron on the skin image with stripe 'em, and that wasn't so good...Rope 'em, Stripe em, Brand em...sung to Rawhide.

stripe em up.... is prolly better.

It's like suit em up in Tiger stripes!

Never mind...
...that image with the capital E looks good.

Personally I think it's kind of stupid. Reminds me of Pastner repeating Tiger Nation over and over.

At the end of the day, doesn't really matter I guess. Winning and losing will determine his reputation here.

That said, it doesn't seem like good coaches use cliches over and over in the media. Fuente was good enough with media but didn't have to lead the PR campaign. He quietly went about his business building the internal culture. Let the marketing team handle PR.

I think Pastner just ruined us to anything new because he would start saying something and never stop to the point we all wanted to 03-puke

Here's a list of "yells" that someone put together. I'm ok with Go Tigers Go, but it seems kind of generic. But then again I don't make absolutely any of the decisions or have connections to any "insiders" that others do. Just trying to pass the time until football season kicks off!

Fuente uses #HardSmartTough all the time. If Norvell keeps recruiting, I don't care what hashtag he wants to use.
