This will have an impact on the next TV negotiations. A good impact too.

"The Information (subscription required) reports that YouTube is expected to launch this service within six to nine months at a cost of $35/month."

Does CBS include CBS Sports Net? Since they're a partner for C-USA and have a terrible online presence I've been looking for a slingTV like service that has them. Only one so far seems to be Southern Fibernet Now, but that doesn't include beIN sports like Vue does.

Otherwise your basically paying $35 dollars for ESPN. It's a dirty trick.

I'm paying $15 dollars for HBO, Showtime and Starz which I'll take over that any day.

I'm hard pressed to see how this is worth while. Is there something I'm missing about this??

Right, another player in the game of the online streaming bundle.

So that will give us DISH (Sling), AT&T (DirecTV), Sony (Playstation VUE) and now Google (YouTube).

Good for channels - more distributors to sell to, and good for consumers as it gives us more competition to keep prices lower.
