Coastal Carolina CWS champions
I didn't think a non power 5 school could get that good of talent when they have at least 5 power house power 5 conference teams less than 4 hours from their campus.

That is one big party school. Maybe that is what got them all those good players. Just 25 miles from Myrtle Beach.

Fresno, Fullerton, and Rice have all won national championships since 2000.

RE: Coastal Carolina CWS champions
Baseball is THE sport for Coastal Carolina...as this year was the third time since 2008 that they made it to a Super Regional and obviously their first ever CWS appearance and National Title.

In Jan 2012, Coastal Carolina approved plans/funds for their $15.2 Million Baseball Stadium (small softball stadium was included as well)...so the team played 2 seasons off-campus in 2013 and 2014...Stadium opens in 2015...Team wins National Championship in 2016.

New plans/renderings help recruiting.

New facilities under construction generally helps recruiting.

New facilities opening helps recruiting.

Legacy of post-season play (like their baseball program has done), helps with recruiting.

Here's a link to a photo gallery of their beautiful new facility.

I'm glad it's not East Carolina or Charlotte.

But if Coastal Carolina can win a baseball championship, why the hell can't we?
