A tough recruiting loss for UT....we will move on

Best wishes to the kid. Good school. If it's on a recruit's mind, wouldn't say their football value-added is more than ours and I'd be hard pressed to say their coaching situation is any more stable but we're likely to lose coaches for completely different reasons. Ours succeed.

No "coach" out-recruited ours. No University out-universitied ours. Not a tough recruiting loss from that perspective.

Purdue's coach will be gone after this season, so I don't think it's a very stable situation.

My guess is that the Toledo coaches will stay in touch with him during the next several months. When the Purdue coach gets the ax he may decide to reopen his recruitment. That is the way it works in the current environment. It would not be a surprise if Iowa State also shows interest since that is would they do to Toledo recruits.

Rockets are fine with the 4 WR verbals.

Purdue!?? Heck, we beat them routinely.

When you're potential future QB is the one recruiting you that's probably good figuring.

We'll be fine. I'd like a couple taller recruits to come in, be on my wish list. One star, two, none but trainable, whatever. Every team could use a few at WR and TE and at CB to defend those routes into the corner of the end zones. Even the average QBs are expected to hit those, need to be able to defend and make the throw harder.
