My brother did, this was in the 80's and he really wanted engineering. We had nothing for him academically. I will add that he loaded up on some pretty tough classes while at JMU and for the first time in his life he was struggling to get the grades he expected of himself. He has little to say of his time in Harrisonburg other than it was a tough year.

Anyone have any insight as to why such a highly ranked player only played in 7 games And scored a total of two points? Hoping JMU is all she needs to play at a high level.
On a side note, looking at Tech's schedule last year, Va Tech will be a tremendous challenge for Coach Brooks. The ACC schedule will be brutal. Great opportunity for him and I look forward to following him.

Julian Ashby Burruss (1908–1919)
His service began in 1908 and ended in 1919 when he left JMU to become the eighth President of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His tenure at Virginia Tech lasted from September 1, 1919 to July 1, 1945.

lol..
As I tell current JMU students President Burruss left our campus for VT because they needed him more, and they still need him.

Reading this interview w/ her back in May, Kenny may have helped in selling her on O'Regan and JMU once she decided to leave?
The Vienna native said in a phone interview that she wanted to transfer even before Dennis Wolff was fired in March. She said new coach Kenny Brooks wanted her to stay on the team.
"It wasn't the right fit for me as a school," Koshuta said. "I kind of wanted to leave halfway through the year. Even with the coaching change, Tech just wasn't the right … fit for me for basketball- and school-wise."
Read in the DNR today that the bolded part above was not how Kenny remembers it:
In May, when Koshuta publicly announced she was leaving Tech, she told the Roanoke Times that Brooks wanted her to stay with the program.
“That is not the way I recollect the situation,” Brooks said in a text message Thursday. “The decision for her to leave was amicable and mutual. I wish her the best.”
O’Regan said he and Brooks had “limited” dialogue about Koshuta during her recruitment to JMU this summer. Koshuta did not name the other schools that courted her after she was granted her release from Tech.

I'm sure the conversation was amicable, but "mutual"? That seems strange. A 4 star front court player who had three years of eligibility left wants to leave your program and the feeling is "mutual"? I smell something a little fishy, and it sounds like KB may be spinning this story.
