Tigers in the Canadian Football League
Brandon McDonald - Saskatchewan
Terry Redden - Hamilton
Curtis Steele - Saskatchewan

Games are usually on ESPN2 during the summer. In fact, Saskatchewan plays on ESPN tonight at 10 EDT. Both of our guys are listed as #1 in their position on the depth chart.

There is your tiger related post for the day.

RE: Tigers in the Canadian Football League
Good info. Thanks. Nice to see our guys getting paid.

As important as the WR position is in the CFL, I could see a number of our current crop of receivers playing Canadiean ball, eh?

With the cap on international players a team can have, I'm unsure if they use Canadians for that or no.

Did not know about the cap.
Ever read "playing for Pizza" by John Grisham?
Tells of the actual American Football League in Italy, where each team is limited to 2 American players.

Too bad our Canadian friend is not here to offer his insight on all things Canada (the CFL, Canadian Tuxedos, Cross Country Skiing, snowmobiles, and Hockey).

I watch CFL sometimes (ESPN is getting better about coverage, and yes, summer sports methadone is a very real thing) and it's a pretty exciting brand of football.

It was fun to watch back in the infancy of ESPN. Warren Moon and the Edminton Eskimoes. Deiter Brock, Condredge Holloway. Had some good QBs

Might as well update this

McDonald played in 2 of the 3 Roughrider games. 5 tackles plus a special teams tackle.
Steele has been in all three of the Roughrider games. 22 carries for 118 yards; 9 catches for 85 yards
REdden has not seen the field yet.

Curtis Steele could bring it, but the Dude fumbled too much. Had he hung on to the ball he'd of made the ravens
