Also some of Clark's starters came of the Magee year and a half of recruiting so......

ANY new coach starts off in his first year with many / most of his players left over from the previous coach. You can fire and hire a whole staff almost anytime, but you can't fire their players. (Callaway tried to fire many who had not quit or transferred so we wound up with an APR problem and only 60 players on scholarship for his first year)

FBHC Clark's first signing class (Feb 2014) included 9 from Cal JUCO (including the starting QB), 4 from Miss JUCO and 4 from Alabama HS. This core of new blood made a big difference in the nature of the 2014 team.

The main reason i thought well of Clark was he didnt have many of his guys quit on him. Also ive always wondered how we got Harris Gaston it seems a week before the season
