A look at 2016 Football TV games vs. 2015
This only includes games within the C-USA media rights package (over-the-air & cable). Does not include streaming and away non-conference games or post-season games. I'm not sure how a 47% reduction in total games shown vs. 5 games added on the ESPN networks equals "much better exposure" that the conference office is spouting about. Hopefully this "exposure" leads to more butts in stadiums.

2016
ESPN/CBSSN/ASN/beIN
11 - Marshall
7 - Southern Miss
7 - WKU
6 - Florida International
4 - FAU
4 - La Tech
3 - Old Dominion
3 - Middle Tennessee
3 - North Texas
3 - Rice
3 - UTEP
3 - UTSA
2 - Charlotte

59 Total Games

2015
FOX/CBSSN/ASN
10 - FAU
10 - Marshall
10 - Old Dominion
10 - Rice
10 - Southern Miss
9 - Charlotte
9 - La Tech
9 - WKU
9 - UTSA
8 - Middle Tennessee
7 - Florida International
7 - North Texas
3 - UTEP

111 Total games

ASN will select a few more, ESPN3 is rumored to get around 15. Every thing else will be whatever replaces All Access.

Did you guys happen to look at the media guide for this year? It says they are launching CUSA TV this summer. Sounds like a conference controlled digital delivery format that will carry everything sports related, subscription based.

We're playing Missouri and Vanderbilt -- and we have three TV games as of now. Depressing

Wouldn't it be better to compare June 2015 tv schedule to June 2016 TV schedule?
ASN was listed as "Comprehensive schedule to be announced at a later date".
CBSSports had 7 CUSA home games.
FS1 had 7 CUSA home games.
Fox Sports Regional had 0 CUSA home games.
Fox College Sports had 6 CUSA home games.
Fox "other" had 17 CUSA home games all with TBD time.

In June 2015 when the schedule was released, total TV games at CUSA stadiums was 37.

But that 37 grew to the 111 you listed. Will it be the same in 2016? I honestly don't know.

Your answer is no if you mean traditional tv. beIN, CBS SN, and ESPN have all chosen their max already. ASN could pick up to 20 more, which would still be far short of last year's total. If the CampusInsiders and ESPN3 rumors are true then we could still get 15-20 games on those platforms.

Maybe, but the reports of the media deals were very specific on the number of games to be shown on each tv network for the 2016 season.

The number of games listed on the June 2016 release matches the number of games to be shown for the whole season. It's possible those networks could add a game here or there, but from the looks of it most networks look to be almost fully scheduled for the whole season, so I'm not where many tv additions would land...We don't have any contracts with any regional networks as we did last year with FOX, that's where a lot of the increase occurred last season...but if there are additions, we'll make another comparison when the conference office makes another release.

Are schools able to sell the rights to their games not picked up by the CUSA partners?

According to a newspaper article I read earlier this week that was covering La Tech, yes.

The LT AD mentioned that it would maybe be possible to generate a few hundred thousand in additional revenue by producing and selling the rights to other partners for games not picked up elsewhere.

Hopefully WCCB in Charlotte would be willing to produce and broadcast our games again. They gave us 70% of the ad revenue during the game in the original arrangement. I have no idea what that amounted to, but I thought it was a pretty generous arrangement.
