Best Kickers
So I'm bored with not much happening until football starts up again. I was thinking about the good kickers we've had in the past, but I don't remember them all. The best ones I remember are Azar, Nendick, and Ivanic (without looking at the statistics). I don't go back any farther than that so I don't know about earlier kickers. Salerno seemed pretty good too. Hagan has a chance to be very good IMO. Sims had some big kicks but tailed off too much his senior year.

RE: Best Kickers
Over the last 15 yrs, all of our place kickers have been great, until they get to be Seniors. Then they have a down year. No worries this year though, Hagan's a Jr.

Best Kickers
Seems like people aren't a huge fan of Nendick, but technically he was the best pro kicking prospect to come out of NIU. He had an offer from the Redskins I believe but tore is quad and was out for some time. Pretty awful timing for him. However he still is big in coaching and training a lot of high level kick prospects in high school to this day. Just wish our coaches would use him more with all the relationships he has w kicking prospects

Him and Azar are the two best I've seen for NIU.

Ivanic doesn't post, but MileHighHuskie is a former kicker.

Tom Wittum was our best. Jim Hannula was very good punter.

Wittum. Punted and placekicked (in addition to being an outstanding Baseball player).

Played five seasons with 49ers, made two Pro Bowls.
