No such thing as a Best Kicker. They're all awful. Always and forever.

Never. All punters and kickers need to be banished & sent to a deserted island.

Reminds me of Todd Sauerbrun being duct taped to goal post for being cocky.

His kick in Detroit wasn't too shabby, either. 02-13-banana

+1

And for the record, Sims had TWO huge kicks in Detroit. Diehard, my guess is you're referring to his winning kick vs Ohio to win the 2011 MACC.

The other was in the 2012 MACC vs Kent State. In the first OT he made a 40 yard FG to tie the game and send it to a 2nd OT. If he had missed, we lose and there's no Orange Bowl.

RE: Best Kickers
Sims was clutch. Azar was a machine. Solarno was soild and has a few records. Nendick was best, had a tough senior year. His holder was changed almost every game because sabock knew little about special teams but is some how credited for punts. Also an injury. Horvath was an amazing holder, so was haldi.
Nenick hit one at CF in orlando which helped get to a bowl game.

I hope we have a kicker that can make an Extra point this year, its embarrassing to miss those. Huge momentum killers.
Would be nice to have a rob wagner type guy again that can block extra points.

RE: Best Kickers
We won the Alabama game due to a blocked PAT which was returned for 2 points.

That was the difference in the game.
