From what I count we (CUSA) have 20 home games against P5's. . I only checked CUSA. It sounded off when I knew ODU had 6 home P5 (2017 -2023 games, however only 4 from 2018 -2022.

RE: Home Games where G5 hosts a P5 school
What's the point of evaluating schedules starting two seasons from now when the vast majority are incomplete? For example, just in 2016/17, the Belt has 3 PF home games scheduled:

APP STATE: Miami Hurricanes (2016) & Wake Forest (2017)
USA: Oklahoma State (2017)

All G5's are likely to add more home games vs P5's in the following 5 year span you're referencing and also just as likely, the ones already scheduled might include more than one buyout.

It's the way the AAC posters work. They probably kept picking spans of years till they found one they had the lead in and that's the one they posted. I agree it makes zero sense to start at 2018, when there's months before 2016 gets rolling.

There were if I recall correctly three threads. One for 2016, one for 2017 and one for 2018 - 2022.

Nah, it's all good.
We'll give AAC the "best G5 conference in 2020 so far" based on this early info.

To recap:
2014 - CUSA
2015- AAC
2016 - AAC (we'll give them early lead based on polls)
2017- CUSA*
2018- MWC*
2019- CUSA*
2020 -AAC
2021-tbd
2022-tbd

RE: Home Games where G5 hosts a P5 school
Well, by my count 2016 stacks up like this:

AAC - 9
CUSA - 6
INDY - 4
MWC - 3
SBC - 1
MAC - 0

*Did not count neutral site games as home games.

I counted the ACC only has 5 P5 home non-conference games. I did not count ND since that is a schedule semi-conference game but if you did count them that would be 8.

The SEC only has 3 non-conference P5 teams at home!!! I get they have the conference P5 teams but you can not count your conference schools towards that in my opinion.

If there's just one way being in a media market pays off, it's in getting P5s to come to you.

Is this where the Georgia Southern fans start crying that no one will schedule a home and home with them?

Pretty sure ECU isn't in a big TV market and they get more P5's at home than anyone.

Well, they get VaTech, NC, and NCState to come to their place. That's three.

Of course, NC and NCState (even though the ACC is still considered a Power Conference) isn't much to brag about. In reality there's a P4, then the ACC, then the G5. LOL.

And South Carolina and West Virginia. So there's your SEC and B12.

You mean the conference that has a national championship and national runner up in the past three seasons?

Not saying they don't have a couple of really good teams but the gap between the ACC and the other four is huge in most years. Heck the AAC had a National Champion in Basketball 2 years ago. I wouldn't put the AAC on the same level as the other power conferences.
