Keep WV in your thoughts
Don't know if they are giving much coverage to what happened in WV a few days ago, but southern and central WV got about 3 months worth of rain in about 8 hours. Horrific flash flooding, at least 24 dead, had to cancel the tournament at the Greenbrier because it became one large water hazard. Actually finding cars scattered throughout the course now that the water is receding.

This is a gallery someone has put together of some of the damage and devastation.

My sister in-law grew up in White Sulfur Springs (home of the Greenbrier Resort) I spoke with her yesterday, as she and my brother live in Hong Kong. She has been desperately seeking info on her family, and just found out they are okay, but have lost 3 vehicles and a house.

Here is a gallery of photos including some unimaginable aerial shots...

Have a cousin in Nicholas County that lost everything.

I have a lot of family in the Gauley Bridge area that had close calls, but no damage that I've heard about for them.

This is the first summer in 10 years I'm not going to be able to make my annual trip to WV. It is an absolutely beautiful place with great people. Our prayers are definitely with them.

Sister works at Greenbrier. Good story, some people who are now homeless are getting to stay at the Greenbier. That is what a community is supposed to be like. 04-cheers

I have buddies in Lewsisburg & White Sulfer Springs and they found bodies on the golf course as well. Bodies found in streets and in parks. Crazy stuff.
