Oh yeah...sorry. I didn't think those qualified. I guess we could also get into stuff like Troy's NAIA and DII football titles. It'd probably be a nice list if other divisions/subdivisions were included.

Lol I was mostly kidding. We have 6 titles in FCS Football and one title in NAIA Baseball. Nothing since joining the Belt. We'd need a few changes and a lot of miracles to win another championship in the big 3 before I go senile.

I knew there were some FCS championships, but I wasn't really counting those.

So this would be the potential first national title at the highest NCAA level for the big 3 sports for the conference.

A lot of FCS Titles (ULM, WKU, App, GS), but by definition, those didn't happen in the Sun Belt Conference

We had a Sun Belt Team make the Final Four like 40 years ago, and the Cajuns have a couple CWS appearances in the last 20 years. That's it.

No doubt this is for the Sun Belt!

Regular starters - not many.

We have a few seniors and juniors that were drafted. One guy hasn't announced yet but i expect him to go.

The odd situation is the BSC Pitcher of the Year is a Junior but not drafted. He is the multi-angle guy and may have done enough to get an undrafted free agent offer, if not he should be back as a Senior.

We should have our 2nd baseman (SO) who is injured, backup first baseman (SO) who is starting now, center fielder, midweek pitcher (SO), high profile freshman pitcher who has had an up and down season coming off of TJ surgery but could be a real game changer when he is on - all back for sure. Unknown are the DH (JR) who hasn't announced if he'll sign (he may try to improve his stock), and the starting pitcher (JR) who was undrafted that I mentioned above. There is also an outfielder that played a lot last year due to injury but just couldn't crack the lineup this year with the experience we had.

I agree with you but it is largely semantics. All that really matters is who won it. The finer point of which conference the winner was in at the time is really secondary. Does anyone care that Arizona has won 4 baseball titles but one was not part of the Pac-12? No, just that Arizona is a current member of the Pac-12 and have won 4 titles.

Let's hope this becomes more of a discussion in a couple of days!

He'll show up about 4 innings into the game (There was a delay on the 18th tee box) wearing his Bright Yellow Sun Belt Polo. In an interview he'll claim how its great that either ULL or CCU will win the title this year, and how its great for the conference either way. It will only be after he learns that ULL actually lost to Arizona 3 weeks ago will he know he's in the wrong place.
