Interesting highlights. Only question would be what level of competition does Lindbloom play. Seems like a "Hard Way" type of player.

A 6'3" WR that runs a 4.38 40 yd.is certainly worth a look-see!

The competition is probably not great but Corey Thomas went there so that's good enough for me.

2nd posting on the original post to this thread, under "Hudl Profile" lists his 40 time as 4.38. That is where I got the info.

Hopefully he does run a 4.38 but we'll see. Kids make their own Hudl page which means he wrote that in himself so it's not verified atleast.

The links above from track show a 11.05 100m and Jordan Nettles ran a 10.6 100m and he isn't even listed as 4.38 so that's really all we have to compare on now.

FWIW, that 55 meter time equates to about a 4.6 40-yard time.

I agree but until you put pads on, you never know. He is not coming from a football factory so he is more raw then others after a few weeks in training camp in August, we will know what we have with all 2016 grads.

Braverman also ran 10.6 in HS and is an official 4.47 combine timed. So the 4.6 range sounds more likely.

Strongly disagree. He is raw. He is a project. If you meant little chance to play in 9p days you're right. If you meet over the next 4,5 years , he has opportunity to play. This program over the years has had tremendous success with raw talents that walk on and made solid contributions. Even being All MAC.

Most of those WRs are smaller slot types. I think with these 2 6'3" guys maybe they were looking to fill in behind Golladay/ Glasper. Obviously these kids are not going to play right away, maybe just injury/depth type protection. JMHO.

In 8 weeks, NIU will be practicing and then he will be able to show what he can do. FYI, Chad Spann was a walk on.
