UAB's indoor facility will not have walls
You couldn't get away with this in the north but it's a good money saving idea for Birmingham.

Weird situation there, they first eliminate football lose most of their players, now are ramping back up. Interesting thing in that article was 19 million was raised in donations already. Damn!

I hated the idea at first. When I saw the numbers thought it made sense. $4 million for this versus an estimated $13-15 million for a complete indoor building.

I think it's a great idea, no need for walls there anyway. Saves a ton of money and provides the same service.

It does have running water and electricity. I wonder if there is a giant map in the building with a red arrow pinned to it pointing to your location.
