Is anybody able to watch these? The video won't load for me, either at home or work.

Glad to see Carey is so dismissive of one of the most embarrassing performances in school history.

It has to be THE most embarrassing. Lucky a lot of people didn't spend their money to go see it.

I would agree.

I sat through the 2006 Poinsettia Bowl debacle against TCU, but this was worse. We were physically over-matched in the 2006 game. That TCU team was way better than last year's Boise State team. The TCU defense was better than the Ohio State defense we faced earlier that year.

Yup. They held GW to like 28 yards and the offense just couldn't get anything going. As great as Doug Free was, they had a DE, I think his name was Tommy Blake, who just manhandled him all game. That was a rough one

Yep, I was at that 2006 game too, and I had guests come down from LA. I was embarrassed, but as you said, we were just overmatched. But, we certainly got more than 33 yards against TCU. Last year, we simply did not show up.

TCU - we had 1 play I think. A Matt Simon catch for 40+ yards. The rest sucked.

Yep. Our only score in that game was on a blocked punt.

Still better than the embarrassing debacle last year. In 2006, at least we had one play to cheer.

And against TCU there was at least a semblance of defense, especially before English got hurt. I can understand not doing much offensively against Boise with a nth string QB in there, but the defense was non-existent.

I was there as I live in L.A. now. Mind boggling how badly things went. Felt bad for the folks that flew out to be a part of the day.

I was there, too. It was so humiliating. I felt like I should apologize to all the Boise fans. It was so pathetic they couldn't even enjoy it after the first eight minutes or so. In Rod we Trust!!

I am more bothered by what led up to the ass kicking than the actual game. those kids did not want to play that game and many did not

RE: Coach Carey remarks at FSA event
If I were the AD, I would have offered everyone who attended that game a refund because they did not get what they paid for - and that was to see a college football game. It's not a game when only one team shows up. I would have also sent a letter of apology to BSU - and made every player on our team sign the letter.

I am just so thankful I did not waste airfare to attend another disgusting post-season game. I learned my lesson a couple years ago. I now just donate what I would have spent on the trip to the HAF. Everyone is happy.

What about Turner's kick return?

Now that the bubble screen and jet sweep have been around a few years does anybody have any ideas what the new invention in the game will be?

Let's see what happens this year with new offensive coaches. But, I have a feeling that as long as Carey is at the helm, we will see a boatload (sorry PJ) of bubbles and jets. (Gee, sounds like a hot tub!)
