Its probably hard coming off the bench after being used to starting but I agree. His FG% needs to get better.

Trey is also a volume shooter. It wasn't uncommon for him to start 2 for 8 then hit 6 shots in a row at some point, but he needs to get a lot of shots off to really get going a lot of times.

My fear is that Trey at ODU was our best option and sometimes our only option on offense. That wont be the case in the NBA or even the D-League. He needs to come off the bench and go 3-5 or 4-7 to be valuable on and NBA roster. So far he has been 2-7, 3-9, and 3-8. If he can make 1-2 more shots a night that would be big. I like that he is chipping in in other areas like rebounding and steals.

If Trey were to stay with the rockets, it wouldn't be for scoring. He would be asked to knock down a midrange and be a defense + pass pg.

Trey was 1-7 last night finshied with 6 points. Also had 5 reb, 5 ast and 5 PF

Yeah I watched most of the game. He's definitely not out there looking for his shot. There were times I wish he had taken shot.
